As part of the Sports Performance programme, students have the opportunity to complete weekly NeuroTracker sessions, similar to that delivered at Red Bull Formula 1, and Manchester United FC. This week’s highest scoring student performs a basketball dribbling exercise whilst recalling the targets to an outstanding level of high accuracy. This task trains cognitive overload to help the athlete stay focused during multitasking activities. Mr Rhodes, has trained A-Level psychology students to deliver sessions and cope with mental fatigue to ensure athletes continue to perform optimally over time.
