Student Support and Welfare
The Plymouth Studio School is committed to creating an environment where young people can achieve their full potential. Students will operate within a code of conduct that establishes expectations in relation to attendance, punctuality and behaviour.
These expectations of behaviour will apply equally to the classroom and the workplace and will be clearly communicated to prospective students and their parents/carers.
The Plymouth Studio School will seek to create a positive learning environment and therefore unacceptable behaviour or bullying will not be tolerated. Robust processes and procedures will be in place to ensure a consistent approach to managing any issues that arise, underpinned by regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD) ensuring that staff are well equipped to manage the learning environment and particularly student behaviour. Whilst unacceptable behaviour will be challenged, positive behaviour will be recognised and rewarded as part of a positive behaviour management strategy.
